I am deeply passionate about making a positive impact in the field of Circular Agriculture and Food Sector. My primary focus lies in the realm of research, where I am dedicated to the pursuit of innovative solutions for sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural practices.

At the core of my work is the quest to revolutionize Integrated Pest Management programs (IPM) within both open fields and greenhouses. By identifying alternative biological control agents, I aim to reduce our reliance on chemical methods, thus fostering a more sustainable and ecologically balanced approach to pest control. The essence of this research is to effectively manage plant insects and diseases while concurrently championing the isolation and sustainable mass production of local biological control agents. It's a commitment to both crop health and the preservation of our environment.

Collaboration is a key part of my journey. I work closely with students in our lab who share my passion for sustainability. Together, we actively explore and create various urban farming methods, like hydroponics and aquaponics. These projects not only showcase our commitment to sustainable practices but also contribute to making cities greener and fostering local, sustainable food production. It's a holistic approach to enhancing our connection with the environment and nourishing our communities.
